Peacocks - A Grade Albino Ruby Red

A Grade Albino Ruby Reds

Normal grade albino ruby red peacocks. These guys are extremely hardy and very prolific. My breeder female routinely has had up to 70 babies per spawn. Also, the males get huge! Biggest albinos I have had the chance to raise.

Typical development can be seen below.

Juveniles @1.5 inches

Young Male @3 inches

Young Adult Male @4 inches

Breeder Adult Male @6 inches

Peacocks - S Grade Albino Ruby Red

S Grade Albino Ruby Reds:

"S" for Super Red. These are some of the most beautiful peacocks I have ever seen or raised. Imported directly from a breeder in Asia, these guys are so colorful I originally thought they must be hormone treated. Fortunately, they are completely natural and breed true. The pics below of the young males are the offspring from my breeder male.

Compared to my A Grade line of albino rubies, these are obviously much brighter red orange and start developing color at a smaller size. I find their overall shape more pleasing as well. Some other differences include being much less prolific than the A Grade line. Females hold successfully less often and with much smaller broods, even with the same tank conditions as the A Grades. Definitely a more challenging peacock for a breeder.

Here is what you can expect from male coloring as they mature. Photos are not enhanced and taken in normal tank lighting.
